The Motability scheme is set up to help you get mobile by exchanging some of your disability allowance for a car, powerchair or scooter

We at Midshires are one of a small number of dealers who can provide custom built prescriptive powerchairs, prescribed by our expert assessment team. Our extensive product list means we can provide the perfect solution to your mobility problems. We also have a range of scooters available through the motability scheme*

To be eligible to join the Motability Scheme, you need to receive one of the following mobility allowances and you must have at least 12 months’ award length remaining. Please note that the Attendance Allowance cannot be used to lease a car through the Scheme

• Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC DLA)
  As of April 2021, this allowance is £62.55 per week

• Enhanced Rate Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP)
  As of April 2021, this allowance is £89.60 per week
