The Motability Scheme
Established in 1977, the Motability Scheme was created to help disabled people, wounded veterans and families across the UK gain access to independent mobility. By exchanging a qualifying mobility allowance, individuals can lease a brand-new powerchair or scooter with an all-inclusive package that covers servicing, insurance and routine maintenance.

Step 1: Free Clinical Assessment & Prescription
Book a free home or showroom assessment with our expert assessment team. We evaluate your clinical, postural and environmental needs to prescribe a solution tailored to your daily routine.
Step 2: Choosing Your Equipment
Select from our range of bespoke prescriptive powerchairs or mobility scooters. Because every powerchair is custom-built, we help you select the exact seating, drive base and control configuration required for maximum comfort and independence.
Step 3: Seamless Application Processing
Once you have chosen your equipment, our team handles the Motability paperwork and submits your application through the online portal. We ensure your qualifying mobility allowance is locked in smoothly with zero admin stress for you.
Step 4: Delivery, Custom Setup & Handover
Your brand-new powerchair or scooter is delivered to your door with our white-glove handover service. Our specialist technicians complete final ergonomic adjustments, ensure proper seating fit and provide full operational training before you take your first trip.
Eligibility & Allowances
To join the Motability Scheme, you must receive one of the following higher-rate mobility allowances and have at least 12 months remaining on your award:
